eating with manners

My bearded dragon does not eat with manners!  He chews the food from the ground and eats it up whole. If the food does not fit in his mouth he lets it fall out of  his mouth and saves it for later he doesn't want to eat like us humans with little bites one at a time he will eat and if it falls out of his mouth if he wanted to.  I would have to take out whatever he doesn't eat and if he ate all the food I will have to refill it and that stinks because I don't want to clean up his mess!  He eats without manners and hates to eat his mealworms he only eats the crickets!
